3A LYCOAT
3A LYCOAT: Rumen Protected Herbal Lysine
A source of bioavailable Lysine for ruminants
High yielding dairy cattle have high energy and protein requirements. Supplementation in the form of protein rich feeds are essential for continued performance. Considering that the main limiting amino acids for dairy cows are methionine and lysine, and that both of these important amino acids are regraded in the rumen, Agrovet Animal Health developed technology to ensure successful delivery of these proteins to the small intestine. For absorption to occur, efficient post-ruminal release and effective protection from the rumen environment must ensue.
3A LYCOAT offers a cost-effective solution for balancing amino acids in the diets of dairy cows.
Chemical properties and manufacturing process
Agrovet Animal Health has developed an innovative coating technology to protect lysine from the rumen environment. We use our own top selling product, 3A HERBA-LYS (unprotected for monogastric animals) and encapsulate this within a lipid matrix in order to by-pass the rumen and be available at the intestinal region. Only once lipase activity is present, will the coating break down to expose the core of conjugated lysine.
3A LYCOAT: Intestinal available protected, natural herbal lysine with significant research conducted, only high quality materials used, advanced coating technology and of course, made here in Austria.

3A CHOLICOAT 25%
3A CHOLICOAT 25%: 25% Rumen Protected Choline Chloride
An essential nutrient for transition dairy cows for improved milk production and liver function
Choline chloride has multiple functions in both monogastic and ruminant animal species, including important roles in animal production, reproduction and health. Although choline is equally important to ruminants (particularly during the transition stage), un-protected choline degrades in the rumen resulting in loss of absorption of up to 98%. 3A CHOLOCOAT 25% offers choline in a rumen-protected form to ensure optimum absorption to combat the common fatty liver syndrome and ketosis associated during transition. Furthermore, trials have shown the feeding rumen-protected choline may also improve milk production and composition.
Chemical properties and manufacturing process
Choline [(CH3)3N+CH2CH2OH] is a multi-function B-complex vitamin that has a close inter functional relationship with methionine, vitamin B12, and folic acid.
3A CHOLICOAT 25% uses advanced technology to coat choline chloride with a protective layer of fatty acids, of which rumen microbes are unable to digest. However, further down the digestion process, digestive enzymes come in and have the capabilities to break down the fatty acid coating to release the choline chloride for absorption.
3A CHOLICOAT 25% is the best rumen-protected choline on the market with significant research conducted, only high quality materials used, advanced coating technology and of course, made here in Austria.
Product features and benefits
Survives rumen environment for slow released in small intestine
Aids in the prevention and treatment of ketosis
Provides a methyl-group donor
Increases overall milk production as well as the protein and fat content in milk
Improves the transport of lipids in the blood thus reducing the risk of fatty liver
Supplementation of 3A CHOLICOAT to transition dairy cows can alleviate the health disorders, reproductive problems and the incidence of metabolic disorders associated with the occurrence of ketosis and mastitis.

3A Cleanbed
Information about 3A Cleanbed :
3A Cleanbed is used for moisture absorption and improving hygienic bedding conditions in animal bedding. High moisture conditions can lead to increased moulds, bacterial and fungal growth. Neutralises animal bedding.
Composition:
3A Cleanbed is manufactured from ingredients of high absorbance both mineral and vegetal sources and all ingredients are listed in the European Union Register of Feed Additives pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003
Product Description: A light grey powder, packaged in 25 kg bags
Shelf Life: 3 years from Production date
When to use 3A Cleanbed:
should be used in a variety of housing conditions and in all animal species of cows, pigs, poultry and equine. The use of 3A cleanbed is to absorb excess moisture from the bedding area of the animal and reduce ammonia levels which become elevated in high moisture conditions. In the farrowing area, a dry hygienic environment is essential for new born piglets. With 3A Cleanbed bedding, young wet piglets will tend to coat themselves in 3A Cleanbed which will have a positive effect on heat retention and drying off of the pig which will help prevent infection. A strong aroma of essential oils will help neutralize ammonia odours. 3A Cleanbed is used for the hygienic bedding of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, horses and poultry and other animals. It can be hand applied or by suitable.
Application:
3A Cleanbed is used for the hygienic bedding of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, horses and poultry and other animals. It can be hand applied or by suitable blower.

3A AGROTOX
DESCRIPTION
3A-AGROTOX powerfully binds to and inactivates mycotoxins present in mould-contaminated feed whilst supporting overall gastrointestinal health.
Every raw material used in the production of animal feed, invariably contains large amounts of mould spores that are not all destroyed during processing. These spores produce mycotoxins which are detrimental to animal health across all species. Mycotoxins reduce feed intake and damage the cell lining the gastro-intestinal tract leading to diarrhoea and other enteric disorders. Mycotoxins can enter the blood stream which results in detrimental effects to other organs such as the brain, reproductive system, kidneys and liver. As a consequence, a reduction in growth, reproductive performance and general health is observed.
3A Agrotox is a blend of compounds chosen for their ability to selectively adsorb mycotoxins, whilst supporting the establishment of beneficial intestinal micro-flora and health of the digestive system.
The clay minerals found in 3A Agrotox, act by forming a stable electrochemical bond with aflatoxins. Once this bond is formed, the toxin is inactivated and prevented from being absorbed in the gastro-intestinal tract. The body is them able to remove the bound toxin easily through the faeces. Other ingredients in 3A Agrotox have a wide adsorption profile to a range of mycotoxin species. Additionally, specific constituents found in 3A Agrotox bind to pathogenic bacteria thereby inhibiting its growth and proliferation whilst also promoting the growth of beneficial bactierialeading to optimal digestive health.
PRODUCT FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Produced from naturally occurring compounds and safe to feed to all classes of livestock.
- Reduces humidity levels in stored grains and feeds, therefore preventing mould and toxin growth.
- Contains mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and beta-glucans which help maintain and establish beneficial gastro-intestinal bacteria.
- Binds to the active chemical groups of mycotoxins, inactivates the toxinand converts them to compounds of larger sizes which prevents their adsorption into the animal’s intestinal wall. 3A-AGROTOX does not bind to vitamins, minerals or other nutrients of benefit to the animal
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
3A –AGROTOX should be used as preventive at a rate of 0.5 kg and for treatment 1-2 kg per metric ton (MT) of finished feed. In extreme cases of mycotoxin presence, dosage can be increased to 2.5 kg per MT.
STABILITY AND STORAGE:
Stable for 2 years when stored in dry conditions in original packaging.
PACKAGING:
3A AGROTOX is packed in 25 kg polyethylene bags with an internal poly liner.
