3A CHOLICOAT 25%

3A CHOLICOAT 25%: 25% Rumen Protected Choline Chloride

An essential nutrient for transition dairy cows for improved milk production and liver function

Choline chloride has multiple functions in both monogastic and ruminant animal species, including important roles in animal production, reproduction and health. Although choline is equally important to ruminants (particularly during the transition stage), un-protected choline degrades in the rumen resulting in loss of absorption of up to 98%. 3A CHOLOCOAT 25% offers choline in a rumen-protected form to ensure optimum absorption to combat the common fatty liver syndrome and ketosis associated during transition. Furthermore, trials have shown the feeding rumen-protected choline may also improve milk production and composition.

Chemical properties and manufacturing process

Choline [(CH3)3N+CH2CH2OH] is a multi-function B-complex vitamin that has a close inter functional relationship with methionine, vitamin B12, and folic acid.

3A CHOLICOAT 25% uses advanced technology to coat choline chloride with a protective layer of fatty acids, of which rumen microbes are unable to digest. However, further down the digestion process, digestive enzymes come in and have the capabilities to break down the fatty acid coating to release the choline chloride for absorption.

3A CHOLICOAT 25% is the best rumen-protected choline on the market with significant research conducted, only high quality materials used, advanced coating technology and of course, made here in Austria.

Product features and benefits

Survives rumen environment for slow released in small intestine

Aids in the prevention and treatment of ketosis

Provides a methyl-group donor

Increases overall milk production as well as the protein and fat content in milk

Improves the transport of lipids in the blood thus reducing the risk of fatty liver

Supplementation of 3A CHOLICOAT to transition dairy cows can alleviate the health disorders, reproductive problems and the incidence of metabolic disorders associated with the occurrence of ketosis and mastitis.
