Agrovet Animal Health Prepares to Open Its Own Production Facility in Hollabrunn
Our own facility in Hollabrunn
There is a question that comes up in almost every conversation with a new distributor. Not about dosage, not about price. Where do you actually make this?
It is a fair question. In feed additives, "made in Austria" is printed on a lot of bags and it can mean very different things. Our answer has always been Austria. From this autumn it comes with an address: Hollabrunn, Lower Austria, our own production facility.
A place of our own
Until now our production planning had to fit into a shared schedule. That works, and it has worked well for years, but it sets the pace for everything around it, from a special batch for a customer to a formula we want to try out.
In Hollabrunn the pace is ours. We decide when to produce, how quickly to approve a change and when to ship. Sixteen years of research, formulas and daily work with farms stand behind this site, and it is set up for the way we make our products.
What it lets us do
We can move faster on the things our customers actually wait for: approvals, adjustments, dispatch. We have room for experiments and for our own development work, instead of fitting it into gaps in a schedule. New products can reach the market sooner. And we can finally do the simplest thing of all, invite a partner to come and stand in the room where their product is made.
What does not change is the range. The same formulas, the same specifications, the same products our partners have been working with for years.
A word from Dr Omid Samadijavan
"I have dreamed of having our own plant for as long as I can remember. In Austria that is not an easy thing to build, and it did not happen quickly. But the company keeps growing, and growth has to be matched with steps of the same size. This one is for our customers. Everything we do in this building should make working with us easier."
What comes next
The work is in its final stage and the opening is close. The first batches from Hollabrunn will follow shortly after, and we will show them here.
And the answer to that question at the trade fair is much shorter now. Come and see for yourself.
